Is there any parking near the clinic?

Our clinic is at 4030 Knight St, directly across from “Knight Street Cafe”. There is free residential parking in surrounding residential blocks as well as free parking in the underground parking of Save-On-Foods for customers of the block businesses. Make sure to park on the second level and not to park in Save-On Customers Parking.

What is the cancellation/no show policy?

If you are unable to make your appointment, please cancel online or call us as soon as you can. To avoid a cancellation fee, please give our therapists a minimum of 24 hours notice. Please note that the clinic reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee if not given sufficient notice. Thank you for your understanding.

Do I need a doctor’s referral?

No, you do not need a referral to book and see our therapists. However, double check with your private health care insurance provider to see if they need a referral for reimbursement.

What can I expect at my first appointment?

We recommend booking a 60 minute first visit if it is your first time seeing a clinician! The clinician you book with will start with going through your history, what’s bothering you, what you want to work on, and more. Then they will conduct movement assessments to better establish treatment goals. Then for the last bit of the session, they will perform manual therapy, show you some home exercises, and/or give you more self-management strategies.

Any follow up appointments are typically only 30 minutes long.

What does it mean that you are a “No Shoe” Clinic?

Our clients and therapists use the floor to show and do exercises. We want to make sure the floor is as clean as possible so we ask you to kindly leave your outdoor shoes at the front in provided shoe shelves.

What do I bring/wear to my first appointment?

Please wear clothes that you are comfortable moving in! For example, shorts, t-shirts, sports bras, etc. You could also bring indoor shoes if you’d like and a waterbottle.

Please bring your health care card and insurance information (if applicable) to the appointment if you have not filled out the intake form online. shelves.
