At Lift Clinic, we value growth and mentorship at every level. In addition to our ongoing mentorship and career coaching within our team, we strive to provide opportunities for current and future students who aspire to pursue a career in health care. We’ve created various opportunities where students can gain practical, one-of-a-kind experiences working with our team and the broader community.

Lift Clinic’s Student Strength and Conditioning coach (SSCC) Practicum is a program focused on learning practical skill development in a team-training setting. During the summer months, we’ve created a blended mentorship position offering a volunteer coach experience so that you can put your learning to use and develop your coaching skills while giving back to the community and meeting like-minded students along the way.
This experience involves learning and collaborating with experienced professionals while training youth athletes within a gym setting. This opportunity is integrated with ongoing training seminars, totalling a minimum of 50 hours during this 4 month period.

Workshop: How To Get Into Physio & How to be a Registered Kinesiologist

This workshop is a great opportunity to listen to new, past, and current physiotherapy students talk about their experience with physio school! You’ll get to ask questions about the application process, what school is like, and anything else you may want to ask!

This workshop will also discuss how to apply to be a registered kinesiologist, and what steps are essential to set yourself up for success after graduation! Whether you take a gap year, or want a back-up career, kinesiology is a great way to ensure that you are staying up to date with healthcare and your future field!

Athlete Health Liaison Program

Lift Clinic’s Athlete Health Liaison (AHL) Program is your ticket to a summer focused on learning and practical skill development in an on-field and clinical setting. During the summer months, we’ve created a blended volunteer and mentorship position offering clinical shadowing and on-field experience so that you can put your learning to use and develop skills while giving back to the community through youth sports.

This experience is similar to that of a varsity athletic trainer, which includes training seminars as well as clinical shadowing, totalling a minimum of 100 hours during this 4-month period.

Client Experience Coordinators

Join our team as a part-time Customer Experience Coordinator (CEC), catering to individuals passionate about physiotherapy, wellness, and related fields. Current post-secondary students thrive in our flexible work environment designed to accommodate academic schedules, and we’re seeking committed individuals to fill this role for at least 2 years. As a CEC, your responsibilities will encompass booking, billing, and delivering excellent customer service for various treatments. Enjoy the added benefit of ongoing career mentorship to help you achieve your professional goals. Ideal candidates exhibit a strong commitment to client success, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and actively engage in community involvement.
