How Our Unique Vancouver Physiotherapy Services Will Help You Get Your Goals on Track:
Pain, movement, performance, or longevity? Starting with our intake form and continuing into your treatment – we want to know WHY you’ve come to us. What matters most to you? How is your issue affecting your life and goals?
Our consults and initial visits normally begin with a head to toe assessment so we can understand how the whole body and associated regions affect your issue. Movement happens in patterns across the body – if we can fix the whole pattern, pain and performance goals fall into place.
Speaking of head to toe assessment, our physios, chiros and massage therapists have ALL studied to ensure we can see the body through the same lens. Our focus is to provide you with a team who can and apply our collective skills to help you reach your goals.
Our team of registered physiotherapists have completed masters-level training and bring a collective skillset fuelled by an environment of continuing education, mentorship and collaboration as we strive for excellence here at the Lift Clinic.
Our therapists have experience playing and treating in a wide range of varsity and amateur competitive sport settings, so you can expect a professional who is highly literate in the best available means to help you reach your goals.
Our physiotherapists take pride in providing 1-on-1 care based in manual therapy and exercise. We’re proud to have created an environment that breaks the mold of traditional clinics to seamlessly integrate your experience as you move forward in the rehab-performance continuum. You can expect highly skilled therapists who excel in manual therapy and exercise from rehabilitation and pain management to performance. We also offer IMS/dry needling, clinical pilates, and some of Vancouver’s most educated therapists in strength and conditioning/performance exercise.
Get to the root cause of your issues with a caring, experienced therapist in our dedicated 1:1 appointments.

Al2022-10-06Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I highly recommend Johnny (RMT) as I have been booking sessions with him for hip/lower body issues. My posture, flexibility, and movement have drastically improved within a few sessions. Big thanks to Johnny as I believe these results were made possible by his massage techniques, patience in listening to what I want to achieve, and his genuine desire to help get me to where I want to be. Johnny has an athletic, multi-sport background and was able to educate me on ways I can improve my movements in hockey and golf via stretches, therapy, and muscle groups to target, which I found to be very valuable. Thanks to Johnny, my experience at the clinic has been excellent. In addition, the clinic is very clean, online booking system is straightforward, and parking is convenient. I’ve been doing strength training with Shauna after an injury — this is my first time working with a strength coach and I’m beyond blown away. Her knowledge and expertise are so valuable, and her approach runs totally counter to all of the toxic diet/fitness culture stuff I was afraid of encountering. I feel safe and strong and supported. Can’t recommend enough!!

- Any relevant brace, orthotics, footwear
- Any relevant referral letters (i.e from doctors or coaches), relevant imaging
- If you haven’t filled out the online booking form, bring your private health care provider card, ICBC claim number (if relevant)
What can I expect during my first appointment?
On your first physiotherapy visit, one of our clinicians will complete a comprehensive evaluation of your current condition. This will include a history taking where the clinician may ask you questions about your current condition, and an in-depth assessment of your movement. The clinician will also provide the first treatment session. The information from the assessment and treatment will provide us with information to guide the treatment plan. This may include establishing treatment goals, a home exercise program and self-management strategies. The appointment will take approximately an hour.
What is your cancellation / no show policy?
Appointments are booked and held exclusively for you. Late cancellations often result in lost income for the therapist, as well as displacing other clients who would have liked to come at that time.
Please try to give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule a visit.
Charges may apply for any appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, and for any appointments missed without any notice. Coverage through your health care provider will not reimbursed fees for missed appointments.
Cancellations due to illness or family/medical emergencies will not result in a late cancellation / no-show charge.
Do you accept ICBC Clients
Yes we accept ICBC clients and directly bill ICBC. We have a separate blog post on ICBC cases which will answer your questions. Alternatively give us a call!
Do you accept WSBC Clients?
We do not currently accept WSBC clients. In some cases, clients choose to come see us and pay privately or through extended health.
